Nana Addo's Speech catches attention of world leaders

In the haste of the global Pandemic, COVID-19, most Heads of States have been hit with making essential decisions for their Nationals.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has to battle with the most difficult decision by announcing a partial lockdown in sensitive locations and epicenters in Ghana.

On Friday, 27th March, 2020 the President of the Republic of Ghana and the commander in chief of the Ghana Armed Forces announced a partial lockdown in the country's capital city (Accra) and the Greater Kumasi Metropolis.
He tasked the assigned security forces to ensure the effectiveness of the Order.

This decision comes after a earlier request by the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) to lockdown the country to prevent the fast spread of the deadly Corona virus.

Excerpts from his speech has yielded applause from most world leaders including the Director General of World Health Organization (WHO) DR. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus who posted it on his twitter page.
