The Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service has issued an invitation letter to the NDC Member of Parliament for Tamale Central for making treasonable statements.
The member of Parliament who doubles as a lawyer is said to have charged the supporters of the defeated National Democratic Congress (NDC) and it's Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama to declare the the former President as the President elect after his second defeat in the just ended Presidential elections in Ghana.
The letter signed by the Director General of Police CIP, COP Ken Yeboah, seeks the permission from the honourable speaker of parliament to release the said NDC MP to answer questions pertaining to his criminal statements.
